Basic information

Since 1970 Academia Brasileira de Neurologia (Brazilian Academy of Neurology) has edited and published the Arquivos de Neuro-Psiquiatria aiming to bring peer-reviewed relevant papers to professionals and researchers in the areas of Clinical Neurology and Neuroscience.

Original articles, views and reviews, historical notes, images in Neurology, and letters related to previously published manuscripts are considered for publication.

Case reports and articles in the areas of Neurosurgery or Psychiatry are not within the scope of this journal.

Arquivos de Neuro-Psiquiatria is an open access journal that publishes its contents in English, one volume per year, consisting of twelve monthly issues, from January to December, in two versions:

Arq Neuropsiquiatr – ISSN 0004-282-X (printed version)

The abbreviated title of the journal is Arq. Neuropsiquiatr., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.
